I can't believe I forgot I had this - one of my favourite works from last year
 We had to make prints from styrofoam board. First we took images from national geographic and transferred them to paper... After that we created templates from styrofoam board. I experimented with a bunch of different colour combinations, but this one worked out the best. The image of the girl is from a picture something like this : [link] Her name is Sharbat Gula, and the article said something about her name meaning 'flower'. So I added in a few stalks of an interesting flower on the bottom.. I don't have a link to that image. It was from an old magazine. There are a few holes around the corners because it was stapled to the display wall and partially torn off by ravaging students.. Anyways. Enjoy |
